General Tips
Most of Alchemist Shop Simulator will make sense without a guide, and I’m gladly to mention…. Alchemist Shop Simulator doesn’t have any missable achievements! So go ahead and play the game without the need to follow any guide.
However, there might be some tips I can give you to make things a little bit easier. I highly recommend copying the list with the potions and removing them from the list when you make them manually to know which of the 30 you haven’t made manually yet.
Some general tips:
- Go around the areas outside your shop and the town daily to find some free herbs; new ones will be spawned each day at 00:00.
- I think it is safe to set the prices so high that it says “low” but on the border with “none”, as you’ll get many visitors and stacking your store and taking care of the herbs outside does take time as well, so you can get away with fewer buyers but for higher prices. I would also round down the prices to an easy amount, so you don’t have to use the “1” beads on the abacus thingy.
- Don’t feel the need to fill the shop all the way with shelves and items. With upgrades, it gets bigger and bigger, but it will also take more time to restock that part of the shop as it is further walking from the merchant to that part of the shop and then back to throw away the empty tray.
- Keep planting herbs in your garden and selling stuff to customers. You’ll need loads of experience, which will be the last thing you need. Both of these things will give you a lot of experience.
Then, a general strategy that I wish I would have known sooner and a part of it is what I already did, to make the road toward 100% shorter:
When choosing skills in the skill tree, go for the top row and get as fast as possible to the end of the tree on the right side. That last skill at the right is crucial to making money so much easier, especially in combination with the “Wide Potion,” which is located at that top row. For the upgrades you buy, I would mostly recommend going for your garden, as the last garden upgrades will also make things so much easier.
After you have all that, buy many middle-sized pots, get the ingredients for the wide potion, make those, and sell them for a very high price (I sold mine for 800 each). They are easy to make, and with the garden upgrade and the last skill, it is so easy to make many of them.
Achievements
Managing the shop
First Steps
Complete the tutorial
No explanation is needed for this; follow the tutorial at the beginning of the game. This will also already unlock a bunch of other achievements.
Seller of… Stuff
Sell your first item
This will be explained by the tutorial and you’ll do this a lot of times during the game.
A Man of Horticulture
Harvest your first plant
You can buy pots for the garden and plant your own herbs. Don’t forget to give them water occasionally, but this will unlock when you harvest your first plant. You will want to keep doing this as it is a great way to earn experience relatively quickly.
Order Up!
Complete your first order
People will hang orders on the board outside your shop, mostly for potions but also for many items in one order. Complete one of those for this achievement. It is a good way to make a lot of money and get a lot of experience all at once.
To The Limit!
Use all the abacus beads in one transaction
This will mean you lose a bunch of money. To prevent that from happening. I would recommend first making a manual save, then in a transaction when you pay the customer their change, use all the beads to unlock this and then reload your manual made save file to not lose money because of this achievement.
Brewing potions
Potion-Making Apprentice
Brew your first potion
You can pin a recipe and follow the steps carefully to make the potion.
Master Alchemist
Brew every type of potion at least once
You have to manually make every potion at least one time for this achievement. I recommend copying the list below to a Word document and removing the ones you made manually. To be able to brew them all, you have to have unlocked them all through the skill tree. This is most likely the last achievement you’ll unlock.
The list with all the potions:
Amnesia Potion
Anthropomorphic Potion
Antimagic Barrier Potion
Armor Potion
Blessing Potion
Camouflage Potion
Darksight Potion
Devil Potion
Disguise Potion
Enlargement Potion
Growth Potion
Hair Growth Potion
Hair Loss Potion
Illusion Potion
Invisibility Potion
Levitation Potion
Magnetic Potion
Ghost Potion
Polymorphic Potion
Protection Potion
Regeneration Potion
Repulsion Potion
Reversal Potion
Shrink Potion
Jumper Potion
Slowdown Potion
Speed Potion
Teleportation Potion
Transition Potion
Wide Potion
Skill Tree
Formula Unveiled
Unlock your first potion formula
Fulfilling orders, selling items/potions and harvesting plants will all give experience. Use this to unlock a potion recipe in the skill tree. I would highly recommend unlocking everything in the top row first. See the general tips for more info on why that is.
That’s the Spirit!
Unlock Spirit Alchemy Skill
This skill is in the skill tree, and you must unlock them all if you want to go for 100% of the achievements.
Salvager
Unlock the Salvager skill
This skill is in the skill tree, and you must unlock them all if you want to go for 100% of the achievements.
Oil Infusion
Unlock the Oil Infusion skill
This skill is in the skill tree, and you must unlock them all if you want to go for 100% of the achievements.
With Your Eyes Closed
Unlock the Routine Brewing skill
This skill is in the skill tree, and you must unlock them all if you want to go for 100% of the achievements. This is, in my opinion, the best skill you will unlock. It will make it much easier to earn lots more money with less work.
Master of Formulas
Unlock all the potion formulas
Keep unlocking skills in the skill tree.
Fully Grown Tree
Unlock the whole Knowledge Tree
Unlock all skills in the skill tree, this will be one of the last achievements you’ll unlock.
Upgrades
Invest in Your Future
Buy your first shop upgrade
You can upgrade your shop at the desk outside your shop. Most shop upgrades will make the merchant outside your shop sell more different types of items.
More Room to Grow
Buy your first garden upgrade
You can upgrade your garden at the desk outside your shop. Garden upgrades mostly involve buying more different kinds of seeds.
Garden Guru
Buy every garden upgrade
You have to buy every garden upgrade for this achievement. You earn money the easiest with brewing potions after you unlocked the automatic brewing skill. I recommend first upgrading the garden before the shop, as it will help you much more with brewing potions and making money.
Retail Royalty
Buy every shop upgrade
You have to buy every shop upgrade for this achievement. I recommend first upgrading the garden before the shop, as it will help you much more with brewing potions and making money.
Secret treasures
Find Your First Hidden Treasure
One down, ??? More to go!
Outside your shop, there are coin bags hidden in different places. Find one to unlock this achievement.
Find ALL the Hidden Treasure
Thirteen. There were thirteen. Now you know.
Find all 13 coin bags to unlock this achievement. If you’re struggling with finding them all, I made this playlist where I list them all:
