Farm Together

Farm Together plays a lot like FarmVille but with a lot more content and without microtransactions. To get all the achievements you’ll have to grind a lot. 150+h for completion, including idling.

I’ve been wanting to play Farm Together since it was released. I played a lot of FarmVille (1) when it came out on Facebook and I really enjoyed how you could help each other while also getting some benefits yourself. This game looks a lot like FarmVille; it not only has the same theme, but everything grows on a timer which also counts on when you’re not in the game. And as the name suggests, you can also help each other!

In the beginning, I did go to other people’s farms a lot to get a boost on my own farm, but after a while, it just seemed too much work for only a little reward. I’m a bit sad that this part of the game felt not worth it for me. I spent most of the time just working on quests on my own farm, to get crystals and ribbons. The building “Marketing Agency” was worth it for me to build as quickly as possible because it provides more quests.

I enjoyed the game a lot for the first 50 hours or so, but after that it felt more like a chore. As an achievement huntress, I really wanted to reach 100% of the achievements. The achievement that took me the longest is the one for unlocking all the plots. After a while, I made a setup with a lot of farmhands who were surrounded by things that they could harvest every 15-20 minutes. That way I got a lot of money and gold nuggets. I spent that money on the Kurkuma plot, which gives a lot of crystals.

While the last hours felt like a real grind, I would still highly recommend this game. Especially if you enjoyed FarmVille in the past.
