This game is such a gem. It has a wholehearted story and I enjoyed it so so much. You play as Concord, the youngest guardian of this island and they let you free from “kindergarden” to help save the island, as it gets invested by rot. It is your task to help all the lovely and not so lovely people from this island. A lot of people won’t believe in your abilities at first but maybe you can change their mind?

The gameplay isn’t that hard, except maybe from some bosses, but it doesn’t punish you when things don’t go so well. I believe that you have even an option so you can’t die, but I didn’t use it. While going through the story and having story quests, there is also this bulletin board on which daily 2 or 3 requests from villagers pop up, it is no problem if you don’t complete those, but they will help out with the main story. They can become boring after a while since it recycles through a limited amount of quests, but I just did them if I was close by the area or if I needed the points they gave in some way.

This game is mostly a resource management game, you will collect all kinds of resources but have a small backpack. Gladly there are a lot of storage boxes placed throughout the world which will be your main way to store the items. Don’t expect much gardening in this game, it unlocks lately and I only used it in that area because of some quests requiring the materials.

This may sound bad but it isn’t. This is such a relaxing but also addictive game. You want to improve living on the island and help the villagers.

There are no missable achievements and a lot of them you’ll unlock while just playing through the game. The only ones you should keep an eye out for are the killing enemy X Z amount of time. For a lot of those you don’t even need to kill them, but just remove their shield/hay/snow for it to count toward the achievement.
