I commissioned some dogs

Another great addition to the “I commissioned some” series. Think about the “Where is Waldo/Wally?” series, but digital. Completion takes about an hour and the game has no missable achievements.

The “I commissioned some” series are games in which you find specific objects in beautiful artwork made by different artists. The developer has made multiple versions with bees, but recently also branched out to bunnies, cats, and now also dogs. You can compare it a bit with the old “Where is waldo/ Wally” books but then a digital version that tells you how many objects are left and if you are correct.

I enjoy this series a lot because it is just an hour of relaxation. I always turn the game sound off to listen to my own music or listen to a video/podcast in the background. There is no time pressure, you can’t get locked out of anything, just finding the items. And the game has a nice hint system to help you find the last few items you’re missing. It is optional and will not be in your face telling you that you should use it.

Another thing I love about the series is that it has keyboard buttons to zoom in and out next to the scroll wheel. My mouse doesn’t have a scroll wheel and this design helps me to still be able to zoom in and out, and also move around with just my keyboard.

I enjoyed finding the dogs, but finding the bones was my least favorite object in the whole series. Most objects in the previous games have quite a specific shape, while the bones are 2 straight lines with some scribbles next to them. They are not as noticeable as other shapes.

You unlock all the achievements by completing each level. None of them are missable and you can save each level and go further later on.
