This picross game is so much fun. A metal cat girl turns everything into pixels and black & white and you’ll have to restore the world. You do this by finding by solving picross/nanogram puzzels. While you’re solving those you find items that help you clear out blocked pathways to find even more puzzles. There are also 10 hidden coins you have to find for the achievements, but the map will tell you in which area you’re missing them. There is also a short mini-game in which you’ll have to catch fish.
I had a lot of fun completing this game. The puzzles started very easy but became a lot harder quickly. For those with less picross experience, you can use all the helpful tools in the settings to make it a bit easier and still get all the achievements. Another thing I want to highlight is that the developer is super responsive on the steam forum, but also on other social media. I found a bug and he fixed it in like 1/2 hours after he figured out what was happening. Also funny, when I started this game I asked him if I should be on the lookout for any missable achievements, his response: “No missable achievements, no! I’m not a sadist!” I love developers who don’t want it to make it extra hard for us achievement hunters. Another important thing I want to highlight is that the developer did a lot to make this game accessible to everyone. In the setting, you have options for no shaking, no flashes and you can change the colors of the picross puzzles to make it easier on the eyes.
