Radiant: Guardians of Light – 100% Achievement guide

Radiant: Guardians of Light

Intro

Welcome to my guide for Radiant: Guardians of Light.

Radiant: Guardians of Light can be played in single-player mode or in co-op locally or through Steam Remote Play. It is much easier in co-op, but most of it is still very doable in single-player mode. However, the Level 50 Coliseum achievement is very challenging in single-player… did I already emphasize that it is very difficult in single-player? I didn’t, did I? 😛

None of the achievements are missable, but I would recommend going first for crafting all gear before upgrading the levels of the last few items; otherwise, you’re stuck with the coliseum for so much longer.

You can play the game on the easy difficulty (and it still is a challenge). Oh, and retreat is a solid option. If you retreat to a portal back to The Shelter, you heal, while most of the time, the enemies stay dead. If you die, the enemies will respawn. So, retreating to the Shelter is a solid option, and then returning to your previous location and continuing the next fight.

Good luck in saving your sister!

Combat Related achievements

Adept? Me?
Reach perfect mode for the first time
To do this, you need to defeat an x number of hits on enemies without getting hit yourself. You can see a round to the right of your health bar, get that full to enter “perfect mode”.

Now You See Me, Now You Don’t
Hit 6 enemies in a single dash
Dash through 6 enemies. This can be easily done later in the area with skeletons.

Untouchable
Defeat 100 enemies without being defeated in a single level
another one easily done in the area with the skeletons. This is where I got it and I think as long as normal enemies are alive skeletons will spawn?

Kung Fu Master I
Defeat a total of 1,000 enemies
See the achievement “Kung Fu Master III”.

Kung Fu Master II
Defeat a total of 5,000 enemies
See the achievement “Kung Fu Master III”.

Kung Fu Master III
Defeat a total of 10,000 enemies
I’m pretty sure you’ll reach this before finishing all the other achievements, but otherwise, it’s easily done through the Coliseum or the areas with the skeletons.

Long Live the Champion I
Complete 10 levels in the Bakar Coliseum
See the achievement “Long Live the Champion III”

Long Live the Champion II
Complete 25 levels in the Bakar Coliseum
See the achievement “Long Live the Champion III”

Long Live the Champion III
Complete 50 levels in the Bakar Coliseum
This is the most challenging achievement in the game. Gladly, the Coliseum saves every 5 levels, so as long as you get to those floors, it saves and you start from there the next time you enter the Coliseum. For this challenge, you want to have maxed-out gear. I used the second-to-last weapon to get this, as it is easier to upgrade, it doesn’t require that rare item from the coliseum to be able to upgrade. It can also help a lot to use the legendary potions as they will increase your stats a lot, but I would only start doing this if you think you’ve got the hang of it and have a chance to win it, because otherwise you’ll be on the hunt for more herbs a lot.
This achievement is significantly easier in co-op mode and can be completed on a save file that was previously used for single-player. In co-op, you can revive each other as long as you don’t die at the same time. It also helps you manage the enemies better if you’re with two players. Co-op can be done locally or through Steam Remote Play.
If you’re doing this on single-player mode, you can switch between characters to instantly fully heal; however, some enemies will kill you in one hit.

Crafting, Coins, skills related Achievements

Will This Do?
Craft some gear in Gildart’s forge
Gildart is in The Shelter. For money and items, and he makes equipment.

Designer Gear
Max a piece of equipment in the forge
The max level of equipment is level 10 (5 stars). I highly recommend waiting with this achievement till the end of the game, as for the Coliseum level 50, you really want maxed out gear!

Closet Goals
Craft the entire catalog from Gildart’s forge
Make every item Gildart can make at least once. Some of the items are only dropping in the Coliseum. Unlock this achievement before upgrading any of the last few items that require this sun item from the Coliseum, as it is so hard to find that item!

Strawberry Flavor!
Brew a legendary potion in Grissel’s cabin
This is the chicken in The shelter. The legendary potions are the ones with the yellow background that require 8 ingredients.

Richie Rich
Accumulate a total of 50,000 coins
You need to have 50k coins on you for this to unlock. It is very easy to earn money in the Coliseum.

Hard Work
Max out a Tier 3 skill
This is are the skills at the bottom of the screen that require 5 skill points. I would highly suggest to first go for the skill that increases the amount of experience you earn and then look for the skill you would prefer of those at the bottom and then go that way.

Support Local Business
Spend over 10,000 coins at Rolant’s shop
Rolant is the cat at The shelter. you can buy ingredients from him. Spend 10k coins to unlock this achievement.

Workforce Exploitation
Hire a mercenary at least 6 times
You can hire mercenaries at Tault Village. It costs 5k gold to hire a mercenary.

The Guardian of Light
Earn all trophies in the game
not related to crafting or skills, but I need to leave this achievement somewhere :p. As it says, just unlock all the other achievements/trophies.
