In this very enjoyable game, you play as a cloud, which goes out on its way to ruin people’s day. you’ll start the game with only the rain ability, later in your adventure, you’ll unlock thunder, snow, and a tornado ability to ruin people’s lives in even more ways. The game is very funny and has a lot of references to other games and other popular things. I had a blast playing through the game.

Some of the achievements in Rain on Your Parade were kind of bugged during the first days of the release. You could get the achievements where you have to beat a specific level within time and without getting hit in a very easy way, but that wasn’t the way the developer intended those achievements. They have been fixed and that increases the difficulty quite a bit.

For the achievements, you can first just play through the game and you only have to complete the main objectives. You’ll unlock most of the achievements in new game+, which isn’t the right name for this mode since you don’t have to start over from scratch. You keep your progress but the levels got extra challenges, and some of those will unlock an achievement. A few of those achievements can be really challenging. For the achievement “Infiltrator Master” I needed loads and loads of tries before I was able to get it. Another challenging one is “Gravity Gun” but that one isn’t so hard as “infiltrator Master”. For those two I’ve made a youtube video on how to unlock them for those that struggle with them as well. You can find them in the guide section on steam.

Overall a very enjoyable game and doable achievements. I most like how original Rain on Your Parade felt and the humor in it.

Whoever said that a cloud couldn’t be a farmer, a cook, or playing golf? You do think it isn’t possible? Wait till you meet Cloudy and have the chance to play this new amazing DLC! In this DLC a naughty Cloudy will go on more adventures.. and maybe will be less naughty on some levels? Although you still can make a mess in Grannie’s kitchen while helping her cook dinner.

In Rain on your DLC you’ll find one new ability for Cloudy which he can use in the base game as well and 22 new levels. One in which you’ll not play as Cloudy but against him and one special level in which you can see how “Rain on your Parada” was made in 2 years and how the earlier game looked like. This lovely DLC is full of humor and challenges in the same vein as can be found in the base game.
