Random Heroes: Gold Edition

Random Heroes: Gold Edition is a fun sideway shooter/platformer which you can complete in 1 to 3h. You have to get 3 stars on the first 15 levels by not getting hit, kill all the enemies and pick up all the coins in a level.

In Random Heroes: Gold Edition you play as a boy fighting against all kinds of aliens, equipped with a gun you fight through the levels. I’m very bad at sideway shooters or shooters in general, but this game looked like a lot of fun and not too hard to complete and that was indeed the case.

For the achievements, you only have to complete the first 36 levels. The hardest achievement might be the one to unlock 15 heroes. For those, you have to get 3 stars in a level, which you can get by not getting hit, kill all enemies and pick up all coins that are scattered around the levels. For the coin requirement, you don’t have to pick up all the coins the enemies drop.

I have heard that people complete all the achievements in 1h, but I needed 2 hours for getting the 3 stars on the first 15 levels. To complete the game, it took me 2.5h in total, but again… I’m very bad at this type of game. I don’t think the game is very hard, it is just a skill I don’t have.

The other achievements are for buying the first few guns and killing all the different kinds of enemies.
