The Pinball Wizard is a short game but one that is so much fun and just doesn’t overstay its welcome. Pinball combined with roguelite, can we make more of those please? No missable achievements and completion takes around 2,5h.

What an awesome small game. I enjoy pinball always for a short time because I’m just so bad at it, but this way to combine it with a roguelite and give you abilities to upgrade and make things easier when spending more time with the game is great for me! It reminds me a little bit of “Yoku’s Island” as that one also took pinball and made it more enjoyable for me.
If you’re good at pinball, completing this game might only take an hour or so, but I needed some time to grind experience to upgrade my abilities. Even after completing the game, there are things as a daily challenge to get the highest score and a few sort of dungeon kinda area to get go through. Both game types also give experience and after I unlocked them I used them to grind experience.
Another thing that I did enjoy is the art style, it really looks like a dungeon crawler but in a good way. You don’t learn much of the main character, only a bit of the story at the beginning of the game but that is fine.
The game is short and only has a few achievements. I would have welcomed more of both but I’m also very glad that it didn’t overstay its welcome. Frosty Pop, can you please make something like this with a tower defense game as well? That is another genre I enjoy but just suck at.
